What is the opposite or additive inverse of a – b, where a and b are integers?

OpenStudy (loser66):

b-a may be??

OpenStudy (loser66):

By definition of additive inverse numbers, we add them together, we get additive identity, it is 0 , right? hence a -b +(b-a) =0, Therefore (b-a) is additive inverse of (a-b) That's all I know

OpenStudy (loser66):

Where does this problem come from? I meant which course?

thank you!
