Check my Answer! What causes an electric current in a wire? A. Electric fields cause atoms to move in the wire. B. Electrons flow because of electrical attraction and repulsion. C. Electrons move because of heat. D. Electrons build up in the wire and create a charge. My Answer: B.
your answer is correct
Well...I don't quite see the answer in these choices. Because conducting electrons in a wire move due to an electric field with a certain kind of velocity called drift velocity.
Since I have not yet studied or learned about drift velocity, I would guess that you don't see the answer because you are seeing the question and its answer in an advanced way. Keep in mind this is eighth grade physics. But, if you were to eliminate three choices and leave one choice as your answer, which would it be, considering what I just told you? :)
I know that I would easily eliminate answer choices A. and B. because they are silly and make no sense. So, of the two left, which would you pick?
I'd say A. But remove the atoms. Lol.
But it cannot be A. because I can't change the answers. XD
Oh, and thank you again! @My_Yich
