How do I use the graph of the function to find the average rate of change?
@satellite73 the one you just helped me on I think gave me the equation for this one I think I have to find the equation based on the graph they gave me but since I can't show you the graph I'm looking at can you just give me an example on how i'd go about that?
find the slope
look at the two points they are asking about, then find the slope of the line between them

ignore the curve, just compute \[\frac{10-5}{7-2}\]
not sure if that helps, but it is the best i can do without an example
Yeah ^ Simply take two points on the line and use the slope formula. Rate-of-change is just slope.
also, why can't you show the graph? make a screen shot, post it
how do I do that is it shift and prtscn
not sure on my computer it is just printscreen
btw "cassandra" is one of my all time fave dennis brown tunes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E95bT40Co-k
lol that completely made my day!! I've been so stressed working on math equations i'm not familiar with since noon today just trying to get them all right firsthand that you just completely made my day =D hahaha
oh and I figured it out lol!
glad you like it think this version is backed by a niney dub orignal tune was "love an happiness" by al green https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqqAnjY2Rmo
