OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, that's how many people are in each group. How many groups are there

OpenStudy (adamk):

Oh. 27 groups

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, 27 groups means 27 matches in the first round

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If one person from each group goes through to the next round, how many groups are there?

OpenStudy (adamk):

So initial value is 27

OpenStudy (adamk):

27(3)^n-1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (adamk):

Honors Algebra 2

OpenStudy (adamk):
