Vicki and Tamra are working on their math homework together. Vicki has worked p problems and Tamra has worked 5 times as many as Vicki. The expression shows how many problems they have worked altogether. p + 5p Which of the following expressions could be used to get the same results? 6p2^ p + 5 6p p + 6

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Do you have any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6p

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

No direct answers, @ireallylikefood That's against the Code of Conduct http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

p + 5p is the same as 1p + 5p Because they share the same type of variable, you can add them together to get 6p

Aww... Thx girl but I don't want you getting banned :(

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

@ireallylikefood Well, you have to explain it out to her. You're not helping her by just giving her the answer. She doesn't learn anything. So please, next time, take the liberty to explain how you got to that conclusion
