I am not sure I agree with the teminolgy - this equation cannot be considered to be 'true' because there is no definitive statement implicit in it. It is the equation of a straight line ( of the form y = mx +b). the graph of the equation and is sketched below: |dw:1431640672788:dw| What CAN be said is that for ANY value of x there is a valid value of y
