What is NOT a good reason for using additional evidence to support an argument? You need to make your essay longer. Your audience strongly disagrees with your argument. Your argument is supported by expert opinion. none of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@brandbear what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

none of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B or D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (tiff9702):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@brandbear its none of those. all of those would be reasons to make it longer, not skip important facts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathslover

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, B would be a reason to give more evidence, not less

@mathslover

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you want to make your essay longer, why would get rid of supporting evidence?

mathslover (mathslover):

@pizza4dayz - Prefer to not give direct answers. OpenStudy is where you're expected to help someone by explanation or at least engaging the asker in a discussion. Here is the context from OS Code-Of-Conduct : "Don't devalue the question/answer process! Don't provide someone with just the answer - explain the process, and help guide them through understanding the problem. Don't just provide the answer to a problem when someone else is in the middle of helping! But if you want to help, by all means, join in!" You can have a look at the OpenStudy Code of Conduct here too : http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct Thanks @TwilightRain1 for tagging me here. Good Work!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@brandbear its none of the above. in all those cases, you should provide supportive evidence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i suck at this type of work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its alright :)

Really? Is says "NOT a good reason". Making an essay longer is a horrible reason. This seems the most appropriate response. Convincing your audience is an excellent reason to expand. Don't answer this one. Experts already agree? Not a good reason to continue. Looks like C is OK but A is excellent, as far as what is actually being asked. Since there is a good answer, this rules out D. In the future, why don't you, the OP (@brandbear), provide DISCUSSION and OPINION, rather than allowing various incorrect understandings to spam the question with alphabet soup? @TwilightRain1 tried to get you to do this. Do it on your own UP FRONT, next time.
