OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

Which of the following is a massive star that has reached the end of its stellar evolution? Neutron star Red giant Stellar nebula White dwarf<--------

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

I picked D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

guess or explanation here?

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

Im just checking my answers lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure on this, but I don't think D is correct... refer to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stellar_evolution

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

it might be C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A neutron star is composed of densely packed protons. A red dwarf star has expanded as it runs out of fuel to perform fusion. A stellar nebula is a gaseous center where you would find my pre-stars or just formed stars. A white dwarf is a dead star that has not cooled yet, no active fusion or fission is occurring.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, not protons, neutrons.

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

soo was it C or no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Guess it depends on definition of "end of stellar evolution". In further review, I'm not sure there is a reasonable answer to this question, as written (including the answers). I'll say this though, after a massive star blows up, neutron stars can form, though it does not have to.
