Line m has no y-intercept, and its x-intercept is (3, 0). Line n has no x-intercept, and its y-intercept is (0, -4). The equation of line m is ? , and the equation of line n is ? .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the x-intercept, we have to find the value of x where y = 0 -- because at every point on the x-axis, y = 0, and vise versa. http://www.themathpage.com/alg/equation-of-a-line-2.htm

so does that mean m and n are 0 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sounds to me like it is describing a purely vertical and purely horizontal line. Otherwise how are there no opposite intercepts?

idk I need to pass and everything is suppose to be done by tomorrow lol and they really didn't show me how to do this
