What is the area of the parallelogram? A. 22 square centimeters B. 30 square centimeters C. 15 square centimeters D. 11 square centimeters
B
oh ok thnx
i have another question
A parallelogram has an area of 288 square centimeters and a height of 12 centimeters. What is the length of the base of the parallelogram? cm
Np I'm in k12 and just did some testing just like this
Sure I can try
yea i'm doing it right now
uuh math so HARRRD
Think about it: It is like a square> what is the area of a sqare?
24
if you think this is hard, you are in for a hard time in the future :)
yea xD
Ya lol
so whats the answer
nvm
What is the area of the trapezoid? A. 72 cm2 B. 104 cm2 C. 136 cm2 D. 208 cm2 http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1564500_1565000/1564710/1/555b21750ecaff61e168c7f5fbf9ea805e9cc150/MS_IMB-1401012-1100607.jpg
lol did u see it just to make sure it 24
oh i did now can someone help with this one plzzz
I can't answer any more but the others will help see ya
i will medal
ok
the formula for the area of a trapezoid is \[\frac{ (a+b) }{ 2 }h\]
would you like to do it or do you want me to show you?
oh a and b are the parallel sides.
oh ok
so can you substitute values for the equation? where a and b equal 9,17 and h equal 8.
so it....well i'm thinking B?
Absolutely right!
AAAAAH!!!!! this is the first time i got it right xD
THAAANKS
:)
I think next time you shouldn't just look for the answer, like what the person above did, but you should also know how to do the question :)
Ooooo like how you showed me first before giving me the answer...ok
thnx for the advice
The area of the trapezoid is 75 cm2. What is the height of the trapezoid? cm http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1564500_1565000/1564704/1/4b3028631631a1a6d018d642611696b1709fa56a/MS_IMB-1401012-1100601.jpg
@MikeyMaximum @Mateaus
@SoullessEyes
you know the formula, right?
well i think
i'm thinking like dividing it or timesing those 2
or adding
substituting the values you already know, \[\frac{ 9+16 }{ 2 }h=75\]\[12.5h=75\]\[h=6\]
i brb in like 15 mins.
kk
so i'm thinking 6
since 9+162h=75 12.5h=75 h=6 but...idk
or it could be 12.5
@AmberAlexis
@cutie529 @cutiecomittee123 @chrissyC.
@Nayef @Nick<3;*
nvm
What is the area of the figure? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1564500_1565000/1564707/1/da50a8e105c95ba2b02d0c060fa79b0955c72380/MS_IMB-1401012-1100604.jpg
it is 6 cm.
I KNEW IT THNXX
You can devide the complex shape into simple ones which are easy to evaluate their areas and then add them up.
oooh so its like dividing them all or somethin
I mean to separate the simple ones.
oooh ok i get it
welcome Lolipop_Drum312.
thnnnxxxx
i got a...........AN 80 AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! *falls out* Amen!!!! xD
thank you for all you helpers
