Which statement correctly describes a cause of the Hundred Years' War? A. The English king wanted to marry Joan of Arc, but the French king refused to give his permission. B. The French king petitioned the pope to have the English king excommunicated for heresy. C. England wanted to retake territory that France had conquered in Norman times. D. France and England valued land and both needed more to protect their people from famine.
Ah, the good 'ol Hundred Years' War. Which do you think?
lol a?
It could be, but why would the king want to marry her?
idk, probably her fierce skillz
"Fierce skillz" - quote by Sarada 2015. Well said.
lol thank you. XD
The English king made claims to the French throne. The French king made claims to the English throne. The French king wanted control of the English provinces in France that the English had controlled since Norman times. The French and English valued land and needed more land to ward off famine. Land and honor were at stake. These are some causes I know from another question. In this question, I think it would be C or D. England was probably bitter from the loss of land and both France and England obviously didn't enjoy the famine
i think it would be c.
Alright, it seems logical.
