Help with matrices?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

I'll try and give it a go, what's the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a guess... do I have to use division?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

nope, for these types of problems, where Ax = B (A and B are matrices), x = B*A^(-1) (B times the inverse of A) do you know how to invert a matrix?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

OH WAIT HOLD ON

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

WRONG ORDER, it should be x = A^(-1) * B, the order matters for matrices!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know how to do the inverse...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes and inverse of a equals adjoint of a divided by determinrnt of a if ur considering ax = b x = a inverse b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But now that I know the formula I can just look up how to do the inverse. thank you
