Choose exactly two answers that are correct. Team Mean height (cm) MAD (cm) Bulldogs 165 6.9 Panthers 177 7.1 Warriors 176 4.8 A. The heights of the Bulldogs’ players vary more than do the Warriors’ heights. B. The heights of the Warriors’ players vary more than do the Panthers’ heights. C. OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the MAD of the data set? {10, 9, 16, 5, 10}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with that to please\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the MAD of the data set? {10, 9, 16, 5, 10}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say C.

OpenStudy (pink.1d):

@Paws616 medal for medal?and she can choose two so its a and c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is a and c but I was not talking about that one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now that you say that a and c look correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the MAD of the data set? {10, 9, 16, 5, 10}

OpenStudy (pink.1d):

@mayah_abdul15 i only said to post as a new question so you will get more answers and a better chance of more people viewing and check the link i posted it will help but u have to do a little solving and can i have a medal for my answer please?

OpenStudy (perl):

first find the mean of the data set

OpenStudy (perl):

( 10 + 9 + 16 + 5 + 10 ) / 5 = 10 so the mean is 10. Now find the absolute value differences with respect to the mean. |10 - 10 | + | 9 - 10 | + | 16 - 10| + | 5 - 10| + | 10 - 10| divide this by 5

OpenStudy (perl):

we get 0 + 1 + 6 + 5 + 0 = 12 divide that by 5, to get the MAD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so much perl
