WILL FAN AND/OR MEDAL FOR BEST ANSWER Which example is not a structural adaptation of a plant? A. curling around a tree trunk B. protecting itself with thick bark C. protecting itself with needles D. attracting pollinators with bright colored flowers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one does not mention a physical characteristic of the plant in question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A?

OpenStudy (melodydude):

well two answers are obviously eliminated

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is either D or A but im not entirely sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see your point. It depends on whether or not you consider flower pigments to be part of "structure". Certainly flowers themselves are structures. Also, plants may have special structures to curl around tree trunks, but I believe some of them do it without any special structures.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I read D "brightly colored flowers" as including the structure of the flower.

OpenStudy (melodydude):

in short "A" is not a structural adaption of a plant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks guys i was confused on whether or not the flowers were part of the structure so yea thanks again
