Alcohol consumption is only mentioned in the Prohibition amendments. States regulate alcohol sales. Which makes it a power reserved to the states

Thanks, I'm studying the South Dakota vs. Dole case of 1987 right now and explaining my speculation of Congress overstepping their boundaries - had to ask that.

Don't know much about that case. But, yeah, lots of overstepping by all 3 branches of Federal govt out there.
