if you need to know how to find slope algebraically, then you set up the points as a fraction, so, (-3,-2) ------ (4,-2) then you use the equation y2-y1/x2-x2, which is -2-(-2)/-3-4 when you simplify that further, you get 0/-7. since the 0 is the numerator, the slope of the line is 0. However, if the 0 were the denominator, the slope would be undefined, because you cannot have a denominator of 0.
