posting screenshot right now...

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

@unknownunknown i rember we did a problem like this similiar so i think its A and B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're on the right path.. what do you think you should do next? :)

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

umm i don't know... i know 6x4= 24

geerky42 (geerky42):

\(C = \pi d\) So diameter is 24, right?

geerky42 (geerky42):

Hence radius would be 12.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The formulas for circumference are : π × diameter and 2 × radius × π

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

-3- i kind got confused

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

so is it just c

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

where did you get radius for 12? @geerky42

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

not that it's wrong... just how did you do it... I used the fact that 2pi is a 360 degree circle.

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

so 24pi means that you're going around a 360 degree circle 12 times. but how did grab the difference between the radius of 12 and the diameter of 12

geerky42 (geerky42):

By using the fact that radius is half the diameter.

geerky42 (geerky42):

I think you need to reread question.

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

I... don't get it -_-

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

so B

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

you outright said 12 Rainbow Dash .. show work man. T_T

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

is it B and D?

geerky42 (geerky42):

Anyway, You know that \(C = 24\pi\) And since \(C\) is just pi times diameter, we can see that diameter is 24. And since radius is half the diameter, radius is 12. So yes it's B and D.

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

Okay, thank you so much :D √

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

Circumference of a circle is C = 2pi(r) .. ok I was doing it a bit different using degrees no wonder I couldn't get the terminology x(. k I see what happened x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with @geerky42
