What is the perimeter of the figure to the nearest tenth of a millimeter? A. 9.4 millimeters B. 12.0 millimeters C. 21.4 millimeters D. 30.8 millimeters
@MonKiwi
Well, you can use KHDBDCM to transfer it to milimeters
KHDBDCM?
To find the perimeter, you find the perimeter of the square and add it to the perimeter of the semi-circle. Can you find these?
is 18mm the perimeter?
Okay so i got the answer 19.42
KHDBDCM. It helps you transfer them. So, were doing meters, so it would be Kilo-meters, Deca-meters,Meters,Deci-meters, Centi-meters, Mili-meters (I remember it by using King Henry Died By Drinking Chocolate Milk) The semi circle is the same as the last one, 18.84, and the square equals 12. 18.84 + 12 = 30.84, which rounds to 30.8mm
Oh, its already in Milimeters, My apologies!
np
But, the radius of the circle is 6. 2 x 6 x pi /2 = 18.84. 3 + 3 + 6 = 12. 12 + 18.84 = 30.84 which rounds to 30.8
