Find the surface area of the right triangular prism below. 108 in2 48 in2 51 in2 102 in2
Treat the face of the triangle as the base and use the formula \[(2*base)+(perimeter*height)\] The perimeter is the perimeter of the base and the height would be the length of the rectangle.
idk which one is which @LegendarySadist
No need to tag me, I'm right here. And when you say you don't know which one is which, what are you referring to?
like in the equation you said what am i plugging in where?
The base is the area of the triangle, the perimeter is the perimeter of the triangle, and the height is the length of the rectangle.
ohh ok but how do i find them, like the equations
Equations?
yea the area and perimeter
Area of a triangle: \[\frac{ height*base }{ 2 }\] Use the Pythagorean theorem to find the other leg, and then add the legs for the perimeter.
I'm so confused..
Why are you doing surface area problems if you don't know how to do area or perimeter? Those should come first in any course.
idk lol it so confusing
