Which of the following could Einstein's theory on the photoelectric effect explain that the wave theory could not explain? (Points : 3) Electrons were ejected by incoming light. If the light intensity was increased, then the number of electrons ejected increased. If the light intensity was decreased, then the number of ejected electrons decreased. The kinetic energy of photoelectrons was not related to the intensity of light.

Thank you @iambatman for coming to help

Interesting question, it requires a very good understanding of the "wave theory" and the photoelectric effect. Is is possible you could explain what they mean to you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Photoelectric effect is a very ingenious and easy experiment, it showed us maximum speed of emitted electrons depends on frequency of incident light. And classically: Light is a wave, the energy of the wave is depended only on the amplitude of the electric field component of light.

I don't if any of this means anything to you, I suggest you do some research on it as that will benefit you in understanding what all the terms means and how the experiment works and I know online you can find many animations of the photoelectric effect :)

Ok I think I am understanding it more now. I will go do some research. Thank you.

Np, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask :) I know this topic can be difficult, as the saying goes if you understand quantum mechanics, you really don't understand quantum mechanics ;)
