Fill-in-the-blanks of the following two-column proof: Given: QS = 42 Prove: x = 13 Statements Reasons 1) QS = 42 1) Given 2) QR + RX = QS 2) Segment Addition Postulate 3) (x + 3) + 2x = 42 3) 4) 3x + 3 = 42 4) 5) 3x = 39 5) 6) X = 13 6) Division Property of Equality
PLEASE HELP ME
Information appears to be missing. For one, where's the figure?

besides that no information is missing. I need to answer 3, 4, 5
@Hero
Well, notice how the step from 3x = 39 to x = 13 is division property of equality. Well, that makes sense, the last step was to divide. With that logic, look at what operations are being done. x+3 is "substituted" for QR and 2x is "substituted" for RX. As for the next step, this is just combining like terms, which is considered simplification, I dont believe its any equality or postulate, so Id just say simplify. Then from 3x + 3 = 42 to 3x = 39, we just subtracted 3. So given the operations that we did, you should be able to see what the appropriate responses should be for each step. Hope that makes sense ^_^
so one would be substitution property?
would 5 be subtraction property of equality?
