Is energy the only thing to give a particle mass, and if so, is the Higgs field formed by energy? Thanks
The Higgs boson or Higgs particle is an elementary particle in the Standard Model of particle physics. Observations of the particle allows scientists to explore the Higgs field[5][6]—a fundamental field of crucial importance to particle physics theory,[6] first suspected to exist in the 1960s, that unlike the more familiar electromagnetic field cannot be "turned off", but instead takes a non-zero constant value almost everywhere.
Right, but I'm wondering if we have found if energy is a factor that makes up the Higgs field. I'm wondering this because most of a particles mass is created by energy, but I couldn't find if the Higgs field is made up of energy. Thanks
