OpenStudy (is3535):

Which pronoun best completes the sentence? How is the pronoun used? __________ and Susan are working on a puzzle together. A. Her; subject B. She; subject C. She; predicate nominative D. Her; predicate nominative

OpenStudy (is3535):

@Hero

hero (hero):

What are your thoughts regarding this sentence?

OpenStudy (is3535):

i think c

hero (hero):

Why c?

OpenStudy (is3535):

srry THINK B

hero (hero):

Clever

OpenStudy (is3535):

ok ty

hero (hero):

She is going to the store with her. She (subject) her (predicate nominative)

OpenStudy (is3535):

so C

hero (hero):

Face Palm

hero (hero):

The point is, between she and her, She is always going to be in the subject (near or at the beginning) of the sentence.

OpenStudy (is3535):

ok ty so B

OpenStudy (is3535):

or C

hero (hero):

Yes B is correct. The bit I wrote afterwards was just more clarification. I even gave a demonstration by stating a sentence using both She and her. She is going to the store with her. "She" is clearly used at the beginning of the sentence. I didn't realize it would confuse you further.

OpenStudy (is3535):

ok do you want a medal or fan

hero (hero):

I have plenty of both, so it doesn't really matter.

OpenStudy (is3535):

ok ill give both

hero (hero):

Okay, good luck to you.

OpenStudy (is3535):

ok ty
