A figure shows a portion of a graph of f(x) = x^2 + 3x + 1 and a rectangle with its base on the x-axis and a vertex on the graph. what is the area of the rectangle? (hint: f(2) is the height) ???

hmm, how do you find the rectangles width?
This is all that it says, problem #70
\(f(0.2)\) is the height, not \(f(2)\). The width of the rectangle is the difference between the interval's endpoints: \(0.3-0.2=0.1\). So, the area of the rectangle is \(0.1\times f(0.2)\).
