Nnesha (nnesha):
anything to the 0 power is equal to what ??

so 0 is one?
Nnesha (nnesha):
\[\huge\rm (2)^0 = 1 ~~~(Nnesha)^0 = 1\]
Nnesha (nnesha):
^
OpenStudy (lisa2345):
so the answer is A

x^0 = ?
OpenStudy (lisa2345):
1
Nnesha (nnesha):
yes right so what you should hve left ?
OpenStudy (lisa2345):
the answer is C?
Nnesha (nnesha):
you just said x^0 =1 so C is not right \[\huge\rm 6\color{red}{x^0}y^5\]
x^0 =1 so replace that by one
that's it

OpenStudy (lisa2345):
I don't understand is it D?
Nnesha (nnesha):
there are not same bases
all u need to do is apply 0 exponent property
x^0 = 1 so just replace x^0 by 1
and 6 y^5 stay same :-)
