little challenge. You have 8 balls (all look and) weight the same BUT 1 of the balls weights less than the rest. You have a scale, and you can use the scale twice. How can you determine which ball is the ball that weighs less ?

but is a corresponding conjunction that fits the purpose that I want to indicate. That is, that although 8 balls weight the same, there is an exception (one of the balls weighs less).

if you take 2 pairs of 3 and they weigh the same then the light ball is one of the other 2 You then weigh one against the other to find the light ball.

now if one set of 3 balls weigh differently you take the lightest and pick 2 out and weigh them again If 0ne wieghs light its that one If they weigh the same its the other ball.

correct @welshfella n thats why I thought making a total 9 would be easier. But same method will work for 8.
