HELP WITH GRAPHS??? The graph represents the piecewise function im very confused!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

does this only come in a .docx file? do u havea pdf version

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it in docx file

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i could email it to you? all i have is a dox file. idk what the other one it is. @sweetburger , yes @duel

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

no its ok ill figure out how to open it

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Well were talking about the parabola in this part of the question i believe and that would be represented by x^2 and this is only true for values that are less than 2

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

x values less than 2 just to clarify

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

making any sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeahh it does, but im still confused on the other four blanks

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

i only see 2 other blanks i havent answered yet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant 3 sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

for these blanks the next function would be f(x)= 5 as it is a line on the y value of 5 and 2 is less than or equal to x and x is less than 4

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

i copy and pasted that from above that represents what comes after the f(x)=x^2 in which it is only for values of x that are less than 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh, okay i usnderstand now!!. i have more questions about the test if you dont mind helping me? i wont kow if its the correct answer until i finish the test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

well you need to find the equation of both lines

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk how to

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

one they give you the y intercept so you just need to find the slope by picking 2 points on the line and the other you will need to pick 2 points determine the slope and then plug in a set of points into point slope form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i never learned this stuff

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

what math are u in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey I'm back!!!!!!! I got it
