Anyone on here super good at active/passive voice??

I have to take a quiz on it. And I don't feel prepared enough to start it. I took two practice quizzes and did good. But the quiz I have to take I only have 10 minutes to do.. Im looking for someone to give more examples I guess and example how to tell the difference between them. Thank you for any help

Here are some examples of sentences with active voice.

1. He sings a song.

2. The boy killed the spider.

3. Help him.

4. Farmers sow maize in the rainy season.

5. Are you writing a letter?

Now, we want to change the active to passive.

1. A song is sung by him.

2.  The spider was killed by the boy.

3. Let him be helped.

4. Maize is sown in the rainy season.

5. Is a letter being written by you?

In active sentences, the thing doing the action is the subject of the sentence and the thing receiving the action is the object. Most sentences are active.

[Thing doing action] + [verb] + [thing receiving action]

In passive sentences, the thing receiving the action is the subject of the sentence and the thing doing the action is optionally included near the end of the sentence. You can use the passive form if you think that the thing receiving the action is more important or should be emphasized. You can also use the passive form if you do not know who is doing the action or if you do not want to mention who is doing the action.

[Thing receiving action] + [be] + [past participle of verb] + [by] + [thing doing action]
