I mean if you want to do manual labor then you don't need to bother with school, just drop out and get ready for a life of hard work.

And knowing how to make graphs, and manipulate data is used in lots of jobs, accounting included.
If you don't know how to do this, you won't get to higher maths. No higher maths cuts off lots of mathematician jobs and scientific jobs. In other words, high-paying jobs. If you want to work an easy jobs, all you really need are decent grades. But the better a job you want, the more effort you need to put in school to do good.
I said I hate this class, but if it will pay me later in life do I have a choice? 95% of the people in the world HATE there jobs but they do them! Why? Because they need money and be able to sustain a decent life! I don't want to be a Scientist, in fact I always wanted to be a director or a lawyer, I still need some basic math but Algebra just makes things more COMPLEX there are better ways on figuering out problems than making an Equation.
Equations are the best way to represent an idea to a large group of people :). I use equations much more than manually trying to explain things on here. They also give something to fall back on. But whatever, let's get on to formatting this problem.

Q1, Q3, and Q5 are all easy. Q1 and Q5 are the minimum and maximum, respectively. They are usually just referred to as the minimum and maximum, while Q2 and Q4 are referred to as Q1 and Q3. So for data set A, the minimum is 4 and the maximum is 25. Q3 (usually referred to as Q2) will be the median of the set.
I'd recommend re-writing the data set from least to greatest first though :)

Minimum is the smallest number Q1 is the average of the numbers between the minimum and the median Median is the middle number Q3 is the average of the numbers between the median and the maximum Maximum is the biggest number
Interquartile range is Q3-Q1
That's all you really need to know. All that's left is doing the calculations.
