hint: 36 is the square of 6 64 is the square of 8 nevertheless 94 is not equal to 2*8*6
because of you found a negative value the right answer is B as my friend told you

just for information the value you compute is called ''the delta'' and if it s equal to zero that mean that The polynomial may be factored into a perfect square.
