Three identical light bulbs are connected in series, then are disconnected and arranged in parallel. For each of the scenarios below indicate what changes (if any) take place (1 pt. ea.): Total resistance of the circuit Total current of the circuit Power dissipated by the circuit Voltage used by one of the light bulbs Resistance of one of the light bulbs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

None of the totals are going to change, and the resistance of the light bulb is a material property, so that won't change either. What's left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

power dissipated and voltage used

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just voltage. The power dissipated is for the whole circuit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how does the voltage change

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The bulbs are pretty much resistors. Resistors in series have a voltage drop across each one. In parallel they, they all have the same voltage as the battery.

ok

thank you

you're welcome
