I'd like it explained please
OpenStudy (anonymous):
(x+2x-2x+y=3x18-y so x-y don't know the numbers got to figure out the numbers make sense
OpenStudy (jravenv):
Ahh I see
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so then we figure out what x stands for and y stands for
OpenStudy (anonymous):
to finish the equation

-x^2y^2 +x^4+4y^2-4x^2
(x^4-4x^2)+(4y^2-x^2y^2)
x^2(x^2-4)+y^2(4-x^2)
-x^2(4-x^2)+y^2(4-x^2)
(4-x^2)(y^2-x^2)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so what u think it is @AJ01 can u explain please
OpenStudy (anonymous):
(-x+2)(x-2)(y+x)(y-x)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thats not one of the choice i think
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok sorry i got it now sorry

first rearrange
(x^4-4x^2)+(4y^2-x^2y^2)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i will check
OpenStudy (anonymous):
2- grouping y together and x together
OpenStudy (anonymous):
sorry cooking
OpenStudy (anonymous):
factoring x and y
x^2(x^2-4)+y^2(4-x^2)

ok thsnks does it make sense @Jravenv 2 u
OpenStudy (anonymous):
there is (x^2-4) and (4 -x^2) there is a negative singe so
(x^2-4)=-(4-x^2)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
x^2(x^2-4)+y^2(4-x^2)
-x^2(-x^2+4)+y^2(4-x^2)
factoring (4-x^2)
(4-x^2)(y^2-x^2)
(2^2-x^2)(x^2-x^2)
(a^2-b^2)=(a-b)(a+b)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
(2-x)(2+x)(y-x)(y+y)
C is the answer
