Felicia had $80 when she went to a music store that charges $18 for each CD. She needs to have no less than $20 in her wallet when she leaves the store so she has enough money to buy gas for the ride home. Which shows a possible number of CDs she could buy? Check all that apply. 0 1 2 3 4 5

If she has $80, and she needs to keep at least $20, what is the most she can spend?
@kaylabamlucas that is not truly the correct answer
@kyrabaaker If she has $80 and needs to remain with $20, what is the most she can she spend?
60$
how 18*3 is 54. she has 80 and needs to save 20 dollars 80-20=60 18*3=54
@kaylabamlucas and even if it was (which it STILL isn't) you should not post complete answers here
.........
@MrNood how si that not the right answer? and why shouldn't i be aloud to post answers
really it is just an answer
it is not the right answer because you have not read the question properly you should not post answers because the asker does not learn anything from having answers
Correct. She has $60 to spend. If she buys 0 CDs she has $80 - $0 = $80 left If she buys 1 CD, she has $80 - $18 = $62 left If she buys 2 CDs, she has $80 - 36 = $44 left If she buys 3 CDs she has $80 - $54 = $26 left If she buys 4 CD, she has $80 - $72 = $8 left She cannot possibly buy 5 CDs bec that would be $90 and she only has $80. Of the number of CDs from 0 to 4, which ones leave her with at least $20?
@kaylabamlucas The problem asks for all possible number of CDs she can buy, not just the most.
if she buys 3 shell have 26 left over
right 20 for gas and 6 left
lol
but 3 is not the correct answer to the question
Yes, but notice the wording of the problem. The problem is not asking for what is the most number of CDs she can buy. The problem is asking for all different numbers of CDs she can buy as long as she still has $20 or more left.
3 is the most CD's she can buy and still have 20 dollars left for gas
ohhhh
so 3 and 2 and 0
??
If she buys 0 CDs, she will have all $80 left. This is a valid answer. If she buys 1 CD, she will have $62 left. This is also a valid answer. The same goes for buying 2 and 3 CDs.
she can buy up to 3 so 0,1.2.3
You need to pick all valid answers from the choices, not just one of them.
okay thank you
