What is the simpler form of the following expression? (6x^3-1x^2+1)/(2x+1) I don't really understand how to do this, so please explain if you can! Thank you!

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Hint: Either factor the numerator, or do a synthetic division to see if (2x+1) divides the numerator.

Hint: \[6 x^3-x^2+1=(2 x+1) \left(3 x^2-2 x+1\right) \]
