OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what each of the properties are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you rule out any of the answers that you know are wrong for sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes C is def wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@taylorz115820

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well what are you doing to start off with what operation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well Idk this kind of math is hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are using multiplication

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we can rule out answer D and B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you distributing the 4 to any of the other parts of the equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes/no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You aren't all you are doing is moving the 4 to another place in the equation by doing this you will not affect the answer at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and thats distributive property! Thank you!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Why do you think C is wrong? Did the computer say it was wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its not it is Commutative property of multiplication the Commutative property of multiplication allows you to move a # that is being multiplied and by doing so will not change the answer to the equation
