i could probably figure it out with a little help :/
for #3 i got 27.9, and idk what i did wrong
@Ehsan18 @sdfgsdfgs could u help with a bit more XD sorry
i kept getting variants of 10 for #1 also
what is the distance formula?
it the theorem again
yup !
|dw:1434426375337:dw|
but i keep getting it wrongggggggg
no just google distance formula!
|dw:1434426500074:dw|
so 9^2+6^2=x^2 right?
which comes out to 10.8 but thats wrong
Distance formula = √(x2-x2)^2+(y2-y1)^2
whaaaaaaa i missed that in the lesson
and your points are d:(1,3) and h(9,8).
So, youd have to set up your distance formula as such: c^2=√(8-1)^2+(9-3)^2
Now, continue to simplify.
is the square root for all of it? ahhhhh i still dont get it
#1 i found online is 9.4
Yes, the square root is prevalent throughout the entire simplification process.
@Ashleyisakitty would #2 be 9.5?
