Which factors affect the strength of the interaction between two objects with electrical charges? Choose all answers that are correct. A. the distance between the objects B. the force the objects exert C. how much charge the objects have D. the speed at which the objects move

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take a look at the expression for the magnitude of the force between charged particles from Coulomb's law: \[F=\kappa_e\frac{q_1q_2}{r^2}\] which of the factors mentioned as answers are included here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont understand OoO

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in that expression, \(q_1\) and \(q_2\) are the charges of each object, and \(r\) is the distence between them, they affect the magnitude of the interaction force between the two objects.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah.. i still dont really understand XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just go step by step, A. does the magnitude of the interaction change if you change the distance between the objects ?? well, it does, since it depends on \(r\) which is exactly the distance between the objects do the same analysis for the rest of the cases....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so.. A and C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes! exactly! good work!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how much the charge with which they move
