This is the answer to the first question is: According to Dr. King, this was the only solution that could cure society.
answer all of it
the second one is: not being physically agressive
the third: the willingness to suffer. One must accept violence without retaliating with violence and must go to jail if necessary.
add this to the third as well: King believed that by accepting suffering, it led to tremendous educational and transforming possibilities and would be a powerful tool in changing the minds of the opponents.
This is the fourth: nonviolent resistance was that the universe was on the side of justice. Accordingly, people have a cosmic companionship with God who is on the side of truth. Therefore, the activist has faith that justice will occur in the future.
What kind of PERSON takes part in non-violent action?
Was that question ever answered in the first place?
But either way, this isn't a Q/A site. It's a site for facilitating the thinking process. The best approach to contributing on this site is to get the OP to think about how they might go about answering their own questions first.
@Hero A person willing to put aside their hatred and pursue their goal with love and compassion to put their opponent to shame; one who can accept violence but be able to resist retaliation.
There was your number 1
I know the answer I just wanted some one else view on it
@johndp1236 that's beside the point. @marcthedark should be trying to help you express your own answers to these questions.
You don't need someone else's view. You need your own view.
The fifth: He believed the importance of nonviolence rested in the fact that it prevented physical violence and the "internal violence of spirit." Bitterness and hate were absent from the resisters mind, and replaced with love. and also to open up the opponents mind to look past color and focus on what really matters, keeping the people happy
