I'm sorry I'm no good at limits

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you anyway

@perl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's 3 for all parts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its three different answers and they are all three

OpenStudy (anonymous):

However the function is discontinuous at 1 even though the limit exists, since f(1)=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand. Can you explain that to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The piecewise function is made of 3 contious parts ,the function changes definition at one. Before. One: 4-(1)=3 After one: (1) squared +2 =3 Since both limits are equal, limit at line =3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok Thank You So Much
