Reasons In Geometric Proofs: Please Help Me! Which postulate can be used to prove triangle QTR is congruent to triangle STR a. SAS b. AAS c. Not Congruent d. ASA
you can see (based on the diagram) \( {\rm QT}= {\rm ST}\) \(\angle {\rm Q}=\angle {\rm S}\) and the two triangles share a common side \( {\rm TR}\).
-:(
name each of the congruences that I mentioned respectively, as either A or S.
what does A and S stand for?
I Got SAS! @SolomonZelman
Yes, SAS is right
Omg Thank You, You Explain It Better And Make It Easier!
Nice to hear that; tnx for the complement and you are always welcome...
I Have One More That Is Just Like This One, May You Please Explain It To Me? :)
Which postulate can be used to prove that the triangles are congruent? A. not congruent B. SSA C. HL D. SAS
I Know For A Fact It Is Not C Or A
@UsukiDoll
let me think.. it's been a while.. but I have studied some of the theorems.
what does HL stand for?
Hypotenuse Leg,
hmmm I don't remember a theorem with that.
so it's either the side side angle theorem or the side angle side theorem.
Yes because the hypotenuse leg is incorrect, so it is one of those 2, do you have an idea of what it can be?
xD! there is no SSA postulate spell SSA backwards xD
retrice
lol, so SAS?
yeah... since that theorem doesn't exist. We just side angle side theorem and that one exists.
The Side Angle Side postulate (often abbreviated as SAS) states that if two sides and the included angle of one triangle are congruent to two sides and the included angle of another triangle, then these two triangles are congruent.
EXCUSE THE OTHER WORD LOL. and okay thank you! @UsukiDoll
tbh, that was the first time I heard SSA. Don't remember it in my lectures, but SAS was used a lot so I know that existed.
how about an A.S.S postulate ?
excuse me:)
doesn't exist ^
Angle Side Side , in essence equivalent to Side Angle Side
my professor used SAS a lot last semester, but there is no retriceor SSA
well i submitted my assignment and both answers were wrong :(
O_O! say what?! Was I just censored just now
(of course I am kidin) I used retricein class a bunch of times
I hope I do not get a warning from OS XD
hey have you guys seen the OS commercial on youtube?
the \(\rm A {\tiny~}S {\tiny~} S\) postulate lmao
bye:)
