Whoever can give me the answer to this problem first fan and a metal!!!!!!!!!! :) The perimeter of a triangle is twice the sum of its length and its width. The perimeter is 34 meters and its length is 2 meters more than twice its width. What is the length?

Twice the sum of the length and width is equal to the perimeter (perimeter is 34),\[\Large\rm 2(\ell+w)=34\]So then,\[\Large\rm \ell+w=17\]Then from the other piece of information,
The length is `2 more than` `twice the width`
\[\Large\rm \ell=2w+2\]Adding 2 to each side gives,\[\Large\rm \ell+w=3w+2\]\[\Large\rm 17=3w+2\]So you get a width of 5 when solving that,
and substituting that back into the other equation l+w=17,
gives \(\Large\rm \ell=12\)
