Whoever can give me the answer to this problem first fan and a metal!!!!!!!!!! :) The perimeter of a triangle is twice the sum of its length and its width. The perimeter is 34 meters and its length is 2 meters more than twice its width. What is the length?

Twice the sum of the length and width is equal to the perimeter (perimeter is 34),$\Large\rm 2(\ell+w)=34$So then,$\Large\rm \ell+w=17$Then from the other piece of information, The length is 2 more than twice the width $\Large\rm \ell=2w+2$Adding 2 to each side gives,$\Large\rm \ell+w=3w+2$$\Large\rm 17=3w+2$So you get a width of 5 when solving that, and substituting that back into the other equation l+w=17, gives $$\Large\rm \ell=12$$
