Find the ordered pairs for the x- and y-intercepts of the equation 3x − 2y = 18 and select the appropriate option below. The x-intercept is (0, 6); the y-intercept is (–9, 0). The x-intercept is (6, 0); the y-intercept is (0, –9). The x-intercept is (3, 0); the y-intercept is (0, –2). The x-intercept is (0, 3); the y-intercept is (–2, 0). I think it is D , is this correct ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If not D then c i believe.

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

x-intercept is when y=0 y-intercept is when x=0

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

To find the x-intercept plug in y=0 and solve for x Solve this: \(\sf\Large 3x − 2(0) = 18 \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

So that means the x-intercept is \(\sf (6,0)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx :)

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

we don't even need to calculate the y-intercept because only one answer has that x-intercept

mhhm thx
