rate of change = gradient at any point in time if u have a straight line, you have a single, fixed gradient if u have a curved line, you have a constantly changing gradient average rate of change = average gradient between any 2 points

The spacing for each axis must be chosen so that the line reflects a positive slope. b. The slope of the line reflects the actual trend of the data. d. The slope of a line is not important in analyzing a line graph.
