OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

A prism is a solid with two parallel sides called the bases. The bases can be a rectangle, triangle, hexagon, etc., any polygon. The sides are rectangles.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

18. (a) The bases are triangles ABC and DEF.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

(b) The lateral faces are the 3 rectangular faces: rectangles ACED, BCEF, ABFD

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

(c) We only see two faces, the base on the left side which is triangle ABC, and the face on the right side which is rectangle BCEF. The other three faces are hidden. The hidden faces are base EDF, face ABDF, and face ACED.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

(d) There are 9 edges. The sides of the two triangular bases and the sides of the 3 rectangular sides. Here are all the edges: AB, BC, CA AD, CE, BF DE, EF, DF

Wasnt even close to any of the answers lol

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

(e) A prism is named by the shape of its base. Since the bases are triangles, this is a triangular prism.
