What kind of transport does an egg-lab, which is an egg in water to see how the cell membrane of the water's circumference increases, either passive or active. Please provide reasoning.
Think you have some language issues there. And what type of egg?
Either way, do you think energy is spent or not when transport is occurring?
I think you need to read the question. @mrdoldum
Well, last I checked water does not have a "cell membrane". An "egg-lab", I assume, is a type of experiment and thus it has no transport, active or passive. I think you are talking about the change in volume of the liquid that you put an egg in. If there is a positive change, water must have left the egg. If it is a negative change, water must have entered the egg. Is this movement of water passive or active transport into or out of the egg.
