Please help me with this worksheet. MEDAL!

For the first one (A), I said that the Graph 1 is for that?
Ok let's look at A The number of students who go on a school trip is related to the price of the trip for each student. number of students...price of trip which one do you think depends on the other?
For that one I say price depends on the number of students so price of trip is the dependent and the number of students is the independent
The price of the trip depends on the number of students.
right
Sorry I chose Graph 2.
so graph 2 would say as we increase the number of students the trip amount goes down ?
do you think that would make sense?
Wait...
Isn't it supposed to be the number of students depending on the price?
You can't control the number of students who will go on the trip b/c that varies on the price of the trip.
it says the price of the trip for each student that says the price depends on the number of students going
key phrases in each one: price...for each...student (though in the first sentence it seems redundant because we could also look at: number of students related to price of trip) speed...changes as...time... water lever...changes over..time waiting time...related to...number of people... number of hours...changes over...time... weekly attendance...changes as..times... number of customers...related to...predicted high temperature
price of trip should increase as the student amount increases
graph 4 makes sense to me for A
Okay
Moving on to B
I.V: time D.V: speed
And I find Graph 3?
going down that means we are speeding up function should start with an increase ok....then it says...if we go up then we are losing a little speed so the speed should decrease hmm...graph 3 sounds good to me
C. I.V: time D.V: level
Would that be Graph 1?
so water level... filling a bath level increases get in bath level rests empties bath level decreases that could be graph 6 or 1 I say or Graph 1 or 6 because how do we know the water is coming in at a constant rate
Or would it be like:|dw:1435791319729:dw|
you know I guess graph 1 would make more since
So it says we could even sketch our own so I decided that maybe that can work?
sense*
oh you can?
I actually think I like your graph more
but if I had to choose out of the pictures given graph 1
and I say graph 1 because you should get more time in a bath than like a second graph 1 gives you more than a sec
graph 6 is like I'm going to jump in the tub and get right back out and let the water go down the drain :p
Lol
So which one should I use?
graph 1 out of the 6 seems like the best option
I meant like mine or graph 1?
I honestly think either one will work graph 1 and your graph seem very possible for bath time
Moving on to D.
I.V: number of people D.V: waiting time
anyways @calculusxy I have good to eat I will have to come back later and help
Okay thank you
I'm sorry :(
@Compassionate @TheSmartOne
For D, what do you think the graph would be?
the more people in the park means the more time you will have to wait
