Based on this information, what conclusion can the scientist draw regarding this nucleic acid? The nucleic acid is RNA and would be found in the cytoplasm. OK. This problem asks about how DNA and RNA are different. There are three big differences: 1. DNA is double stranded 2. DNA contains four bases which are Adenine, Cytosine, Guanine and Thymine. These are called A, C, G and T for short. RNA contains four bases too which are Adenine, Cytosine, Guanine and Uracil. Not thymine, uracil. *That fourth base is different* 3. DNA is always found only in the nucleus, while RNA can be found in the nucleus and in the cytoplasm. Is that enough info to answer the question?
