The Twenty-sixth Amendment (Amendment XXVI) to the United States Constitution prohibits the states and the federal government from using age as a reason for denying citizens of the United States who are at least eighteen years old the right to vote. What does this mean?
@FlamePlaysMC
This is from the american constitution
have a look here for details... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty-sixth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution
Any US citizen under 18 can't vote
This means that just because someone is NOT 18, doesn't mean he or she isn't a US ctizen and minors still have their individual and natural rights.
Here's a simple breakdown for you https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/amendmentxxvi
Like school officials can't deny a student's right to speak out against an issue, just because he or she isn't 18. They still have every right to speak out. The 1st Amendment ensures this.
