pooja195 (pooja195):
2t + 5 ≥ -7
if it makes it less confusing think of this as
\[\huge~\rm~2t + 5 = -7\]
We subtract the 5
\[\huge~\rm~-7-5=?\]
OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
@pooja195 forgot to mention to subtract 5 - 5 which in other words cancel out

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
@hilltaiyanna whats negative 7 subtract negative 5?
OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
oh sorry the 5 isn't negative so -7 - 5 = ?
OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
It's -12
OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
Now multiply both sides by -1 (reverse the sign)
(-1) (-2t) ≤ (-1) (-12)

getting us....
2t ≤ 12
OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
Now we divide both sides by 2
\[\frac{ 2t }{ 2 } ≤ \frac{ 12 }{ 2 }\]
OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
Now since you didn't show a simple part of participation ^_^ you can get the answer for your self
