Need help!! How much energy is used by a microwave if 15 A of current run through it for a period of 20 minutes?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

What have you tried

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

P=E/t

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

I use this formila

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Are you given more information?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Can you put a image of the full problem

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

Ok sure wait a sec

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

So basically I guess we are find the E for energy

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

@Astrophysics

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

I'm here

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Yes we need E it seems, but we are lacking information, at the moment or I'm just really tired and not seeing it :P, but please post an image of the problem!

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

incomplete information you can say that the total amount of charge that has passed any given point in circuit = It = 15 * 20 * 60, but that's it.

OpenStudy (mrnood):

you are lacking information Energy = power x time power = volts x amps unless you know the voltage you cannot answer You maybe need to assume it is your mains voltage in your country

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

As I suspected, that for confirming everyone :)
